Our desire is to see our communities come in contact with an intense understanding but an even more intense relationship with God and the love He brings through Jesus Christ.

Welcome

We couldn't be more excited about this year's youth conference. Students from across the Pacific Northwest join us year after year for amazing encounters, life changing moments and God filled weekends. Theophilus Youth Conference of 2010 is coming in February 12-15, 2010. Do you desire an encounter with God where transformation happens? Do you long for community and an experience of love? God is doing amazing things in the lives of young students everywhere. Join us for an amazing weekend of encountering God's love. From worship, to speakers, to service projects, a special prayer journey, exciting breakout seminars and a weekend designed around encountering and growing in the love of God in Christ!

The Nitty Gritty

  • Dates: February 12-15,2010

  • Cost: $130 (Deadline: December 18th) $150.00 (Deadline: January 15th) $170.00 (Deadline: February 5th) -- STAFF cost is fixed at $130.
  • Bus Pickup/Dropoff Location:
    Westside — Calvary Presbyterian Church [map]
    Eastside — The Well Community Church [map]

    High school students need to arrive Friday, February 12, by 3pm. Junior High students need to arrive by 4pm.
    Parents should plan to pick up their students Monday, February 15th, by 3pm.
    All students must arrive at their dropoff location on Friday, February 12th, no later than 4pm.
    Parents should plan to pick up their students Monday, February 15 by 2:30pm
    IMPORTANT: Students will not be allowed to board the bus without a signed and completed waiver form.

  • Packing/Baggage restrictions:
    One moderately sized bag for personal items and one bag for their sleeping bag and pillow.
    PLEASE LABEL ALL YOUR BAGS. Theophilus is not responsible for lost luggage. Remember, no electronics allowed.
  • POLICY ON REFUNDS:  Before February 5th, we are able to issue a 50% refund.  After February 5th, there will be NO REFUNDS
- FOR THEOPHILUS STAFF/COUNSELORS!!  If you have applied to staff with us during The Weekend, and you have received confirmation from us, it is required you attend the Staff Training on January 23rd, 2010. More details TBA.
 

Speaker

Each year, amazing speakers come out to Theophilus Youth Conference. This year is no exception.

Keynote Speaker for The Weekend 2010: Michelle Jones and Marshall Snider (Bridgetown Ministries

Michelle Jones - Writer, pastor, speaker, teacher, and published author, Michelle Jones describes herself as "The Creators Communicator."  She is also living an unimaginable life, having firmly established a reputation in the seemingly disparate worlds of ministry & entertainment.  She is currently working on a number of writing and recording project, including a children's book, and a study of God as inherently divine and intentionally entertaining.

Marshall Snider has been the director of BridgeTown from it's beginning.  His mission statement is:  To Encourage Equip and Inspire others to greatness.  He is married to Lesley and has two son's,  Samuel and Noah.  Marshall loves to read, travel and mostly loves to hang out with his family.
